OUR STORY

Welcome to the heartwarming journey behind "Botanicals". The story begins in my kitchen, where I, Destiny Miles, embarked on a transformative journey of healing, gardening, juicing, and herbalism education; ultimately changing my entire lifestyle.

Driven by a deep desire for personal wellness, I delved into the realms of juice and herbalism, discovering the incredible power of plant-based living. As my kitchen transformed into a sanctuary of vibrant ingredients, I became enamored with the art of crafting recipes that not only delighted the senses but also nurtured the body and soul.

In the pages of "Botanicals," each recipe is a cherished chapter derived from real-life experiences, travels, and heartwarming interactions with loved ones. Picture the refreshing Cucumber Salad, a creation straight from the hands of my dear friend Adrian during a sun-soaked pool day. The crispness of the cucumbers and the burst of flavors tell a tale of laughter, friendship, and the joy of sharing good food with those we care about.

Venture into the world of Golden Spice Immuni Tea, a recipe gifted to me byMonica a cherished family friend living in the vibrant landscapes of Mexico. This concoction not only warms the soul but also carries with it the essence of familial bonds that stretch across borders.

Indulge in the nostalgia of Cocoa Peanut Butter Popsicles, a sweet treat born from moments shared with my friend Christina in the lush beauty of Costa Rica. These frozen delights encapsulate the joy of discovery and the sweetness that comes from forging connections in new and exciting places.

Let’s not forget the Pressed Juice “Truth” – a blend of pineapple, orange, ginger, and turmeric. This vibrant creation found its place whenever I’ve welcomed loved ones into my home. From my younger brother Michael stopping by; to my Trinidadian friend India visiting from California; and Wendy my Guatemalan best friend from childhood coming over to catch up. It’s truly a testament to the diversity of flavors and friendships that have enriched my culinary journey.

"Botanicals" is more than a collection of recipes; it's a chronicle of my personal evolution and the profound impact of embracing a lemon-infused lifestyle. Each page tells a story of discovery, resilience, and the joy that comes from aligning with the bountiful offerings of nature.

With each turn of the page, "Botanicals" invites you into a realm where recipes are more than ingredients – they are stories woven with threads of genuine experiences, travels, and the warmth of shared moments. May these tales resonate with you, adding a sprinkle of magic to your culinary adventures.

Bon Appétit and Happy Exploring,

Destiny Miles
